Accounts Receivable Application Clerk with French

 

Requirement

  • University or high school education, preferably with accounting experience
  • Working knowledge of the English language
  • Knowledge of French language (min. B1)
  • Attention to detail
  • Good team player, flexible, enthusiastic, innovative and proactive
  • Analytical approach / good problem solving skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work to targets and deadlines

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a high volume Multi Cultural processing environment

 

Responsibilities:

  • Receive electronic payment information from the bank
  • Match receipts with the client invoices
  • Resolve allocation queries with client
  • Submit authorised direct debit files to the bank according to the agreed timetable
  • Process adjustments and issue credit/debit notes
  • Prepare and make refund payment to clients
  • Manage intercompany payables
  • Close A/R sub-ledger and reconcile A/R sub-ledger to G/L including management of interfaces
  • Monitor automatic invoice creation programs and interfaces and manage corrections
  • Manage interfaces dealing with electronic payment and bill of exchange receipt
  • Follow established policies, procedures and methods to achieve metrics and targets
  • Deliver external/internal client satisfaction
  • Serve as a resource to other team members
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement initiatives
  • Engage in issue resolution procedures and follow escalation processes
  • Assist in the preparation of reports/prepare/monitor reports in line with Client’s and company’s requirements
  • Respond to requests as needed
  • Comply with company standards, procedures and policies, as well as regulatory requirements
  • Provide support to Order to Cash /Accounts Receivable supervisor and assist with ad-hoc projects as assigned
